Barn Club (seasonally, November - April) Barn Club gives animal-loving children the opportunity to spend time in the barn and around the farm learning how to care for the horses and other animals by feeding and watering them, grooming and brushing them and keeping their living areas clean and dry (and learning why all those things are important!) Hands-on animal related activities and care year round helps keep the animals healthy and gets children out into the fresh air and interacting with the animals they love! This program encourages nurturing, compassion, outward focus, responsibility, empowerment and leadership as well as communication with horses, other animals and their instructor. Activities are age appropriate and differentiated to accommodate skill level, age, comfort level, physical ability and interest. Note: This is an outdoor venue. Hand warmers, gloves, waterproof insulated boots, and winter gear is suitable and recommended in cold months. Helmets (provided) are required when in the stables. Free hot cocoa!
